Sport Psychology

Next, you will dive further into specific sports psychology, covering flow, motivation, mental toughness and the psychobiological model of performance.

Techniques

Help your athletes with technique for positive self-talk, mindfulness, and balancing confidence and anxiety on race day.


Continuing Education

Instructor

Dr. Justin Ross is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in human performance psychology. He works with athletes across all sporting disciplines and age ranges, from recreational amateurs to those performing on the world stage. He is vetted as a psychologist for the NBA and NFL player associations. A recreational amateur himself, Dr. Ross is a 12-time marathoner with a 2:57 PR, a 2-time Ironman 70.3 finisher, and has completed more shorter distance running and triathlon events than he can remember. He is working to complete the World Marathon Majors. He practices on location in Denver, and remotely via telehealth services with athletes across the globe.
